Filed Work
Hi students here is my update from the field. Yesterday I got to go out into the salt water marshes just outside of the city. I worked with two scientists and on graduate student on setting up an experiment out in the marshes. The goal of the experiement was to simulate how flooding conditions affect the natural ecosystem. Remember ecosystem is the relationship between the animals and their environment. I was a lot of hard work and I realized that do scientific experiements out in the field isn't always what you plan on. We ran into some technical difficulties and we weren't able to complete the experiement. But thats how it goes in science, you have to problem solve and then come at the problem from a different angle. This is how you make progress. By figuring out how to overcome obsticles.
The photos show us working out in the marshes.
